GB qv sg.121 2/- brown (je) sg cat £3,800

One of Britain's rarest stamps and missing from nearly every GB collection. Fairly fine used for one of these and the profile is mostly clear. This stamp started out in life having a wing margin on the left-hand side but at some stage has been cut down and reperforated as have so many of this particular issue. These are usually sold to unsuspecting collectors for significantly more without mentioning the reperf job.
