SG121 2/- Brown (QI) - Formerly had a wing margin on the left hand side which in the past has been cut down and reperforated, it has been a common practice to do that and many of the examples offered have been similarly cut down and reperfed without mention in the description. The main reason for doing so was so that the stamps would fit properly into the premade spaces or mounts in pre-printed stamp albums. An easy way to spot these is to remember the word 'HIDE', if the right hand corner letter is H, I, D or E then the stamp is a wing margin example, even if today it looks like a normal example. This is one of GB's scarcest stamps and missing from most all collections, even better quality collections.
